SAVE THE DATE: National Space Society’s Dare To Dream Gala to benefit space education and development. May 30, 2021, Sheraton Gateway Hotel, LAX, Los Angeles, California

Proceeds from the Dare To Dream Fundraising Gala benefit NSS Education programs.

The National Space Society is proud to sponsor “Dare to Dream” Education, a cluster of educational programs such as The NSS Space Settlement Design Contest, The International Space Settlement Design Competition, Cislunar Explorers, Space Edge Academy and more — for children, teens, and young adults around the world. We bring youth into STEAM education using the awe and wonder of their future in the heavens. And, in the process, we inspire those who will someday pave a path to the stars.

“I did not become seriously interested in a career in space science until high school. In tenth grade, I competed in a space settlement competition sponsored by the National Space Society and NASA-Ames Research Center.”

— Catherine Neish
Postdoctoral Fellow at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center

“I will always recognize my 8th grade class (National Space Society) NASA Space Settlement Design project as the beginning of my passion for physics.”

— Nisarga Paul
Cortland Jr. Sr. High School, NY
